#TeamHale is off and running! We had a great kickoff meeting last week with some of the athletes and fundraisers who will #RunlikeHale at the #BostonMarathon in April. We can't wait to introduce you to our team next week.

Camp Spotlight: #HaleAdventureCamp From 8-15 years old, we offer five adventure tracks tailored to each camper’s age and experience level. Campers build skills that prepare them for camping and backpacking trips as they learn to read maps, construct shelters, build fires, and more. They also enjoy traditional camp activities such as swimming, boating, fishing, and arts & crafts. When they aren’t riding, they enjoy other camp activities, like swimming, boating, archery, arts and crafts, sports, and nature. Last week, Jocelyn Bergeron, Annual Fund & Grants Manager, visited Bank of America to learn more about the 129th #BostonMarathon. ?We are honored to be once again included in the Bank of America #BostonMarathon Official Charity Program. In April, ten athletes will cross the famous Boston finish line to support #HaleOutdoorLearningAdventures and #IntrepidHale.

As your camper moves from Kindercamp to Lower, Middle, Teen, and eventually Counselor-in-Training, each program offers increased choice, independence, and diversity in programming: things like low—and high-ropes, fishing, overnight camping, field trips, and more. We have four two-week sessions available throughout the summer and our Pre-Camp programs for all ages are also available for registration. Hale employees were #livingourvalues at a recent all-staff meeting. We started our quarterly meeting with a #teambuilding activity that involved getting outside in nature and using natural materials (and one non-natural item) to envision a new space at Hale. #ExperientialLearning is something we can do at every age. It allowed us to think outside the box, grow as a team, and have a lot of laughs along the way.
