On Veterans Day, we honor and thank our veterans for their courage and dedication. Thank you for your service and all that you do for our country. Today we're honoring veterans from our team who served in the U.S. military. ?? Eric Christiansen served in the U.S. Navy for 12 years and supports Hale as Modules Production Supervisor. ?? Of his lessons from the U.S. Navy, Eric says, “Everyone has a purpose. Everyone has a role to play. As a corpsman, my job was to take care of my Marines. One of the biggest things we would say on the team is, ‘Never above you. Never below you. On National First Responders Day, we honor and thank our first responders for their courage and dedication. Your service keeps our communities safe. Today we're honoring the first responders from our team. ???? Ken Howenstine spent 22 years as a firefighter starting in June 2001 and retired last year in 2023 as Assistant Fire Chief for the Turlock Rural Fire District in CA. ??Ken is now Senior Regional Sales Manager with IDEX Fire & Safety, representing our advanced waterflow solutions SAM Waterflow Systems and more. ??Thanks for your service, Ken, and congratulations on your recent retirement. We joined the 25th annual Fire Truck Training Conference earlier this month in Lansing, Michigan with Spartan Emergency Response. Our team led a handful of training classes in pump mechanics, V-MUX, SAM Waterflow Systems control, Akron Brass Company Nozzles rebuilds, and Class 1 Governors. To Spartan and the 400+ attendees, thanks for having us!

The Fire Department Coffee Rosenbauer America Disaster Response Fire Truck has been providing services to communities impacted by Hurricane Helene since last Wednesday, and here are some things we’ve learned. 1) Words can not describe the devastation. 2) SAR teams are still searching for missing people. 3) Hot coffee and being there has helped morale and provided a little comfort through all the havoc. 4) The washer and dryer on the truck provided by Milliken Textiles have been put to very good use. 5) There is a long road ahead and we don’t know at the moment how long the truck will be deployed. HiViz LED Lighting / FireTech Lights and Sam Massa have stepped up big time to work together on this mission. Shawn Whalen from our team has been working around the clock providing resources, and we are so proud of him. Randy James will be relieving him soon. We have already shipped a replenishment of supplies. Thank you to all of our partners who make this possible. IDEX Corporation and Brent W. have even been on-site to support our efforts. Thank you to all of our customers. We would not be here without you.
