Hi LinkedIn Network We are hiring contract Engineers at Hairstory!??? We are looking for a Front-end and Back-end engineer to help support us over the next four months in a contract role. Our Front-end engineer will be a Shopify specialist. We need someone who can hit the ground running to support our front-end development efforts and collaborate with our back-end experts where necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end technologies and experience with Shopify's ecosystem, particularly Liquid templating. Our Back-end engineer will assist with a high-visibility, high-priority new product for the company.? The ideal candidate will be able to quickly adapt to our existing systems and contribute to ongoing projects such as maintaining and developing server-side logic and databases, designing and implementing minor features and functionality, optimizing back-end systems for performance and scalability, integrating third-party services and APIs, and implement and maintain security and data protection measures. Hello friends! My name is Skip Fellers and I’m a salon owner here in Asheville, North Carolina. Last week our beautiful community was hit by one of the worst natural disasters our region has ever seen. The destruction from Hurricane Helene has been absolutely devastating. There are entire towns that are now gone, dreams broken, and so far 72 lives lost in Buncombe County. While we all wait for water and power to be restored (with no timeline on when that may happen), there are hundreds of hairstylists in the Western North Carolina region out of work. On top of that, these salons have suffered major devastation and may be forced to close their doors until they find new locations.
