We were interested to read a recent article in UK Fire Magazine discussing the rise in wildfires in Britain. As climate change worsens and urban infrastructure grows, there are concerns that the UK could see wildfires on a similar scale to those in Mediterranean countries such as Spain and Greece. At this crucial moment in time, the writer argues, public education, regulation and responsible land-management practices are necessary to keep wildfires to a minimum. You can read the article here: https://bit.ly/4efO1r7 It's important that UK wildland firefighters are given adequate protection as this problem continues. Hainsworth designed and developed ECO-DRY specifically for those tackling wildfires, who need to cover great stretches of land in harsh conditions. The fabric contains merino wool fibre which wicks away sweat, while meta-aramids keep the wearer protected against flame. Learn more about ECO-DRY: https://bit.ly/3sYuBzN

Since then, we’ve continued to be at the forefront of PPE textiles, introducing market-leading fabrics that incorporate high-performance fibre technologies.
