This manual process remained unchanged until the late 18th century when the first paper machines were introduced. If everything goes as planned, Franziska will be supporting our American subsidiary, Hahnemühle USA Inc. at the Crystal Lake IL site in the sales area from this summer.? Last year, she was able to gain a lot of local insights during an internship abroad in the USA lasting several weeks and was able to accompany our American team to a trade fair in Las Vegas. ?? And so our 440th Year of Papermaking is coming to an end with a note from our CEO Jan Woelfle ? “Many thanks to all at Hahnemühle FineArt - Paper 'Made in Germany' since 1584 for your initiatives and hard work in 2024. It was a tough one – with all sad geopolitically crisis and a lot of macro-economic pressure in Germany. ? Despite all this, innovative products in our ???????????? ?????????? segment pushed that one to the best performance historically. In our ?????????????? ?????????? segment we achieved with award-winning FineArt Inkjet Papers another record year as it paid dividends that we always were a reliable paper partner for photographers and print studios. The ???????? ?????????????? segment won new key accounts with high-level customer-centric services and tailor-made paper applications, pushing this segment into the realms of the “true original” positioning which we have since 1883. ? Certainly, we are appreciative and humbled that we can look back to such a performance with our customers and partners, making us one of the few paper factories worldwide with a positive performance in a decreasing industry. Thanks to all employees and special thanks to all the production workers or our apprentices, who jumped into converting to keep us deliverable. ? We had a couple of first this year, which was marking the 440-year anniversary of Hahnemühle: The ????????????ü??????-???????????????????? took off in June towards drupa – no. 1 for printing technologies and back to win the hearts of some key players. First time, we are on regular ???????????????? ???? in Germany as well as YouTube summaries through our Ice Hockey sponsorship and in USA as well through similar initiative winning wider target audiences. We proudly manufactured the paper for the official ???????????????? ?????????????? printed on Hahnemühle Hemp. Also our 'classic celebrities' like ?????????? ???????????? participated the grand opening of Alexandra Grant "Everything belongs to the cosmos" painted on our paper at carlier | gebauer Gmgh in Berlin - open till January, 13 2025. ? ?? It all started with our red Hahnemühle bag for art utensils of Alexandra Grant and as companion for Keanu Reeves while filming in Berlin … and it culminates in a cathedral of words in extraordinary paintings. In ???????????????????? ?????????????? ???? ?????? ???????????? Alexandra Grant interpreted six poems by femal polish artists into immersive works of art. Each a universe to discover and discuss in itself. The opening at gallery carlier | gebauer Gmgh in Berlin was graced with actor and partner of Alexandra Grant Keanu Reeves. ???????????????????? ?????????????? ???? ?????? ???????????? are mixed media works of art on Hahnemühle’s The Collection Watercolour Paper on rolls. ??To mark our 440th anniversary, this year's international competition was all about ‘Celebration’ - be it a glittering festival, a major sporting event or the joy of personal success. The artists have wonderfully managed to capture the many facets of celebration in their works. With vibrant colours, dynamic scenes and emotional moments, they show what it means to celebrate life, love and success. ??We thank all participants for their amazing contributions and warmly congratulate the finalists! ?? Our Hahnemühle Hemp Paper Chosen for Two Major Projects! ?? We’re thrilled to announce the incredible recognition received by our Hahnemühle Hemp paper, a unique blend of hemp and cotton. After being selected for the official posters and limited-edition art prints for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, it was also chosen by the agency c-album for an extraordinary project: creating the new signage for Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Commissioned by the Diocèse de Paris, this new signage captures the cathedral’s timeless heritage, reimagined with custom typography, ornaments, icons, lighting, and color design.
