The Flying Boxcars are the tri-state’s newest professional baseball team, debuting in the 2024 Atlantic League Season. The Boxcars and the Maryland Stadium Authority have begun construction on a new state of the art baseball stadium in Downtown Hagerstown, set to bring family friendly fun and vibrancy to the city. In 2024, the new stadium in downtown Hagerstown will not only be host to a full home slate of Atlantic League baseball games but will be a hub for community events and spectacles.
