Hager Wood Preserving is a Treating Service Only wood preserving plant serving the needs of lumber wholesalers in the greater Michigan Area. At Hager Wood Preserving we manufacture pressure treated building materials with waterborne, copper-based wood preservatives such as MCA-C and CA-C (suspended copper azole). In addition to providing protection against rot, decay and termite attack, Hager Wood Preserving utilizes the pressure treating process to preserve wood for protection against fire. Currently, Hager Wood Preserving is treating with Pyro-Guard? fire retardant as a Licensee of Hoover Treated Wood Products, Inc. Over the years, Hager Wood Preserving has produced quality products at competitive pricing in an environmentally responsible way. Going forward, Hager Wood Preserving continues to meet the challenges of an increasingly competitive and environmentally conscious marketplace.
