Hadassah is deeply saddened by the passing of former Rep. Nita Lowey, an incredible Jewish leader and congresswomen. Lowey was the first women to chair the House Appropriations Committee and a lifelong pro-Israel champion who also fought for advances in women’s health and worked to fight antisemitism.
