Born in Dallas, Texas, Mary Louise cultivated her intellectual and creative talents from an early age. She earned her bachelor's degree from North Texas State University, her master's from Southern Methodist University, and her doctorate from Texas Woman’s University, laying a robust foundation for her dual career in education and the arts. ? A lifelong learner and dedicated educator, Dr. Campbell founded Lighthouse Christian Academy and later served at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) from 1993 to 2009. During her tenure, she held pivotal leadership roles as Chair of the Department of Education and Chair of the Graduate Department of Education, steering the department to achieve both regional and national recognition for excellence. ? Parallel to her academic accomplishments, Mary Louise nurtured her passion for painting. Her home studio became a vibrant sanctuary where she created an eclectic body of work spanning landscapes, portraiture, and multimedia abstract pieces. Her art resonated with many, gracing the walls of The Lighthouse Church and the Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Waxahachie, Texas. Recognized as a Choctaw Registered Artist by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, her work is celebrated for its depth, innovation, and the seamless blend of tradition and modernity. ?
