?? 2024 Boston Preservation Award Winner! ?? ?? Let's celebrate the transformation of the Cole-Hersee building in South Boston. Home to the The Henry Cole Company founded in 1914, the organization began its journey by specializing in lamp sockets and molded insulation, even supplying ignition switches for Henry Ford’s first automobile! After merging with the F.C. Hersee Company in 1935, it continued to flourish in the historic South Boston neighborhood. Today, the facilities have been beautifully transformed into Iron Works, a vibrant community hub. This lively space now features pickleball courts, rock-climbing facilities, restaurants, and trendy bars. The unique charm is enhanced by original architectural features like exposed beams and soaring ceilings. Hacin recently completed the new Waltham offices of?J.C. Cannistraro, LLC, Boston’s leading industrial mechanical contractor. The 25,000 SF space was designed with the intent of fostering collaboration, mentorship, and learning, while also offering areas for personal focus and solitude.
