? ALICE: Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed Households earn above the Federal Poverty Level but cannot afford the basic cost of living in their county. ? Despite struggling to make ends meet, ALICE households often do not qualify for public assistance. While the number of households with children living in poverty is decreasing the number of ALICE households with children is increasing. ? Habitat for Humanity is able to support these households in all 50 states and more than 70 different countries. ? Our Wharton-Smith team was recently invited to and had the privilege of attending a home dedication of a new Habitat for Humanity house for a new home owner. To be included in such a great event was truly an honor and one our team was grateful to be a part of. In addition to providing a house warming gift to the family, our team will soon have the honor of dedicating our time on three soon to be finished Habitat Homes. A BIG thank you to Crystal Lazar, Melissa Parks and Mayor Melonie Bahr Monson for giving our team the opportunity and honor to partner with Habitat for Humanity. #whartonsmithteam #habitatforhumanity #partnership
