What a beautiful day for a Key Ceremony! Today, Habitat for Humanity Corpus Christi presented our newest homeowner with their keys. This exciting and emotional event was the culmination of countless hours of hard work and dedication on the part of the staff, volunteers, and the amazing homeowner. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Don Downey for generously gifting Habitat with his parents' house, everyone who had a hand in this build, and all our community partners who donated materials and labor. Habitat for Humanity bids farewell to a long-time volunteer and board member, Sandra Gonzalez. Sandra began her time with HFH as a volunteer in 2016 and joined the Board of Directors in 2018. She was elected President of the Board in 2022, a role she served with grit and grace. Her contributions over the past nine years have made a lasting impact. Enjoy all your free time, Sandra!
