Today we want to spotlight one of our newest Habitat #homeowners: Ambar! Before applying to purchase a #HabitatforHumanity home, Ambar, who works in housing counseling, worried she wouldn't be able to afford a home in our community. Now, as a homeowner, she's excited to build a foundation for her future family. "With #homeownership, I will have hope that I can plan for a future where I don’t have to worry about being priced out of housing, struggling to make ends meet, and in which I can raise a family that I can provide for," Ambar said. Today we officially broke ground on our first home in Osceola County Government! ???? We're so excited to kickoff this milestone simultaneously with start of our annual Home for the Holidays build. In a matter of weeks, what is now a mostly dirt lot will turn into the future home of Gloria, Francisco and their three children! We're so excited to watch as Williams Company and their subcontractors, vendors and partners build not only one, but two safe, affordable Habitat homes for this year's event – Gloria and Francisco's home in #Kissimmee and another in #OrangeCounty.
