It's #WomenInConstructionWeek and we're celebrating the incredible impact of Habitat's Women Build! This empowering initiative provides women with the chance to gain valuable building experience, work together as a team, and step outside their comfort zone to make a difference in our community. Women Build is all about supporting other women and their families, while also supporting Habitat’s Home Ownership Program. By 2030, 20% of the U.S. population will be 65 or older. Yet, more than 19 million older adults live in homes that are in disrepair or ill-equipped to meet their needs safely.
