Hankook Tire America Corp. is driving change in North Nashville with a $125,000 pledge to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville for the revitalization of the historic?Parkwood Community Club?ballfields. This transformative project will preserve the legacy of Parkwood while creating upgraded facilities for youth baseball and softball. This month, LP Nashville team members rolled up their sleeves for our final 2024 Habitat Build Day, partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville to create affordable housing. Alongside Habitat staff, the team had the chance to work hands-on with LP? SmartSide? products, seeing firsthand the impact they can make in our community. As Veteran's Day approaches I wanted to salute Annie Schmalzried and thank her for her service. She a former Second Class Petty Officer in Aviation Ordnance of the US Navy, dedicated three years of exemplary service from 1995-1998. Stationed with HS-10 on North Island, California, she was a certified plane captain for SH-60F helicopters. Today, she is a VP, Commercial Middle Market Assoc. RM at Fifth Third Bank in Nashville. During her 22-year career at Fifth Third she has held several retail and commercial roles. When away from the office she works tirelessly in the hockey community, coaching a 14U team at the Hendersonville Inline Hockey Association. She volunteers her time with tnAchieves, mentoring high school seniors through the college application and financial aid process. What an incredible day with the Built crew giving back to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville ?? The first picture was taken today, and the second was from my first week at Built back in 2022, standing in the same spot before any slabs had been poured. Over two years of hard work have gone into building this community, and it’s amazing to see it come full circle—from building the frames of the first homes to now putting the finishing touches on the last two. So grateful to work for a company that truly values giving back.

As Veteran's Day approaches it's time to salute and thank Ross Florey for his service as a former Captain of the US Army. Dedicating 10 years of exemplary service, Ross served in a variety of leadership and command positions at 2/39 Field Artillery and in command of A Battery of 1/77 Field Artillery with assignments in Germany, Ft Knox and as an ROTC instructor at MTSU. Today Ross is an SVP, Coml Middle Market RM at Fifth Third Bank where he has helped businesses across the state with access to capital, payment, and cash management services, investments and more. His community service embodies the values of dedication, integrity, and leadership. Ross is active in the community as a board member of Operation Stand Down Tennessee Down, an elder at @Christ Community Church, and a member in FEI | Financial Executives International.
