President Carter first joined Habitat for Humanity in 1984, and his commitment to building a better world is truly remarkable. His compassion and service have made a lasting impact on so many lives. President and the late-Mrs. Carter worked alongside nearly 104,000 volunteers in 14 countries to build, renovate and repair 4,390 Habitat for Humanity homes. Happy 100th birthday, and thank you, President Carter, for a lifetime of service.
