It can be easy to forget the human stories behind the flashing lights and unexpected interruptions of roadside emergencies. We remember Keagan Spencer, a 25-year-old tow operator and father of two, whose life was tragically lost while responding on the road in November 2023, leaving behind a community in mourning. He was more than a tow operator; he was a son, a friend, a father, and a vital part of our community. Driven by their love for Keagan and their hope of preventing tragedies like this from happening again, Keagan's parents Matt Spencer and Miko Garrison are now working tirelessly to spread awareness around Move Over laws, hoping to safeguard those who risk their lives on our roads every day in service of others.
