In 1916 Harold Spinner started by selling wooden shook to the fledgling tree fruit industry in the Yakima Valley. Box making crews were created to supply assembled wood crates to the apple and pear packers in the area. As the industry grew, in 1926 Spinner established an office and warehouse in Wenatchee to serve the northern tree fruit industry of Washington state. Today, H.R. Spinner provides a complete product line of cartons and packaging supplies to the fresh produce industry. We also manufacture box forming equipment to support our customers mechanical packaging needs. H.R. Spinner is driven to be the leading packaging solution provider and we take pride in providing premier customer service and innovative solutions.

Thank you to Allan Brothers and their wonderful team of interns for their visit today and tour of our locations here in Yakima. Allan Brothers' efforts to engage with students at Naches High School is a great way to build connections between young people and the local workforce. Introducing students to local career opportunities helps them see paths that they might not have considered. Its also encouraging to hear the students were engaged and curious - it shows how impactful these types of programs can be!

We would like to give a huge congrats to our very own Kailan Dunn and Evan Wolff for winning the Two Man Golf Tournament this year at the Yakima Country Club. This tournament started in April. All the teams played one match a month and if you lost you were out of the tournament. Way to go Kailan and Evan! Thank you for bringing us home the trophy!!

Congratulations WestRock on completing this massive project. We are grateful for our decades long partnership and your investment in the Pacific Northwest.
Leaders from WestRock and the Longview, Washington, community gathered last week for a #ceremonial ribbon-cutting at the Longview Corrugated Super Box Plant. The 410,000 square-foot facility created around 40 new jobs and has been in operation since its completion in November. The ceremony celebrated this cutting-edge facility that serves WestRock customers and supports the surrounding #community.
