A field of dirt and piping might not be everyone's definition of a beautiful sight, but these visuals mean that plumbing installation is coming along at our new Orlando shelter location on John Young Parkway! ?? Clean kennels, silver water bowls filled to the brim, and freshly bathed pets are all on the horizon!

Last week, we officially broke ground on the City of Pinellas Park Public Safety Complex, a project designed to enhance community safety and modernize essential facilities. Designed by Wannemacher Jensen Architects, this two-phase project begins with the construction of a new, state-of-the-art Police Department Headquarters. Once completed, the existing Police Station will be transformed into a Fire Station with administrative offices above. By designing and building both facilities under one contract, the project ensures a streamlined approach and efficient delivery. We’re proud to help bring this vision to life for the City of Pinellas Park!

Last week marked the next step for the future Horizon West Library! ??? The B+P Team joined the Orange County Library System, Orange County Government District 1 Commissioner Nicole Wilson, Horizon West residents, H. J. High Construction Company, and our design partners to break ground on the 20,000 square-foot, state-of-art Library. The Library is designed to be incorporated into the natural landscape of the Horizon West Regional Park, blending seamlessly into the surrounding area. The Library will feature an entrance lobby which sweeps through the main building, training rooms, study rooms, collections, maker spaces, inspiring children’s and teen areas, offices, and a virtual lab for photography, videography, and podcasting. The Library will feature the first exterior performance stage for the Library System. Designed with sustainability in mind, this branch will also be the first LEED??certified library for OCLS. The future Horizon West Library will be a cornerstone for educational growth, cultural enrichment, and community connection. The B+P team is honored to bring this vision to life! ???? The ground has been broken on the Southeast Community and Government Center, which will connect residents in the southeast portion of our city to municipal services. It will also bring a long-awaited branch of one of our community's most-valued resources - Orange County Library System - to Lake Nona. We're fortunate that our library system makes it easy for people in our community to learn, share and make connections with others. We're looking forward to partnering with OCLS to create this community hub on Dowden Road that will provide residents in the area with a convenient location to access a range of services and information.

Construction is underway on the new Orange County Library System (FL) Horizon West Branch! Located on Hamlin Groves Trail, the new 20,000 SF library is designed by Borrelli + Partners, Inc. Designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding natural landscape, the library will feature a beautiful, spacious entrance lobby, training rooms, study rooms, collections, maker spaces, children's and teen's areas, virtual photography/videography lab, exterior performance area and much more. Please join us tomorrow, December 3 as we break ground on the future Lake Nona Branch Library! The ceremony will begin at 10:30 AM at McCoy Community Park. The 20,000 square-foot library will share a campus with the City of Orlando's Southeast Government and Community Center.
