She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from UNLV and brings experience from her time working with general contractors in Las Vegas, specializing in tenant improvement projects. Project update from our third Design, Build & Construct Clinker Production Line! ? As 2024 came to a close, we celebrated the substantial completion of our design and engineering efforts. We're eagerly anticipating the next milestones in our Clinker Production Line project and are proud of the tremendous expertise we bring to designing and engineering such facilities for our customers. ? Reflecting on 2024, it’s remarkable to think that in January, we set the first column, and now, by January 2025, we’ve reached structural topping out on the primary critical path structure—the 5-Stage Preheat Tower. ? Looking ahead to 2025, the finish line is in sight. It’s thrilling to know that first clinker is closer than ever in the life cycle of this incredible project. ? Unique to the #cement industry, this #DesignBuild project has showcased H&M’s full-service capabilities. Our in-house engineering group, H&M Architects/Engineers, Inc., has been responsible for all construction design and engineering. As the sole contractor, H&M has self-performed with our in-house teams the complete concrete, structural steel fabrication and erection, mechanical, piping and electrical supply, and installation packages. ? Project update highlights include: - Primary structural top out of level 7 of the critical path 5 Stage Preheat Tower - Completed phase 1 of the rotary kiln installation - Completed installation of the clinker cooler up the to the grate lines - Completed all ancillary MCC, Compressor and Hydraulic buildings - Commenced mechanical erection of the primary CKD dust collector - Commenced with installation of feed pipes / meal chutes in the 5 Stage Preheat Tower - Ongoing vertical raw mill installation - Ongoing installation of raw material and additive stackers and reclaimers in storage halls - Ongoing installation of process air and water piping - Ongoing installation of electrical equipment and raceways inside electrical rooms ? Although there have been challenges imposed by wind, inclement weather and international machinery shipping, H&M continues to stay fervent and maintain the critical project schedule.
