Walker's Imaginarium is a first-of-its kind facility within a children's hospital, rooted in the healing power of nature and music. We are honored to be designing the two floors of experiences that build on the knowledge and dreams of staff, patients, and most importantly Walker Beery. Congratulations Children's Hospital New Orleans on the groundbreaking of what is a truly groundbreaking project!
Today, Children’s Hospital New Orleans celebrated the groundbreaking of Walker’s Imagainarium – a dream made possible in partnership with Kids Join The Fight, and in loving memory of Walker Beery. Walker’s legacy will transform the child healthcare experience with this first-of-its-kind, 15,000 sq ft project that will create joy, smiles, and most importantly serve as a place for kids to just be kids. Kids will heal faster because of Walker’s Imaginarium, because fun is part of the healing process at Children’s Hospital. Bringing the wonder of La Nube to life in our first commercial was an absolute privilege! From the initial inception, scripting, and coordination, I’m proud to see my vision come to life. Capturing the magic of families exploring our exhibits and showcasing children of all abilities—something often overlooked in commercials—was a dream come true. La Nube truly is a place for everyone, where the vibrant diversity of El Paso shines. A huge thank you to all the amazing children and families who came out to participate—you made this vision possible! This hybrid science centre, children's museum will lead the field in access and inclusion by building bridges to different cultures, languages, abilities and ages. "The blue sky connects all of us around the world" came directly from the El Paso community to inspire Gyroscope's exhibit designs.
