We’ve wrapped up another Journey workshop, and I must say, this one has been my favorite so far! ???? We kicked off the day with breakfast and the chance to network with my other Journeyers. The focus of our workshop was Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, led by the amazing ?Aisha DeBerry, Deketa Tranae, and Dr. Jason Walker. ?The chemistry among these three is truly MAGICAL! ??The insights they shared were not only inspiring but also incredibly enlightening. Thanks to Dr. Jason Walker, my appreciation for Science has significantly increased! ???????? I’m excited to share everything I learned today with my colleagues! Flashback to last month's Journey workshop! Our Journeyers dove deep into problem-solving and group dynamics at their 2nd workshop with Long Table Consulting. Using the 5 Voices Assessment, they learned how to tackle challenges with confidence and lead with clarity. This stylish event raises funds for pediatric cancer research while giving children fighting cancer a magical runway experience. Friday's are sweeter with Friday Features. First up, from our 2025 Journey Class is Andrianna Butler. Andrianna holds an associate's degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Gwinnett Technical College. She currently works at the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce as a Member Services Senior Coordinator. Joining her for a feature today is Annabelle Hammock! Annabelle also graduated from Gwinnett Technical College with an associates degree in Hospitality Administration/Management. She currently works for SNELLVILLE TOURISM AND TRADE ASSOCIATION INC as an Event Manager. We are proud to have Andrianna Butler & Annabelle Hammock as a part of this year's Journey class!

Andrea Ornelas is a student of our Journey Class 0f 2025. She graduated with a Masters in International Business Management from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. Andrea currently works as a consultant at re:power! We are proud to have Andrea as a part of this year's Journey Leadership Institute and can't wait to see her growth!
