We still need your support to help Gwinnett Chatt Outreach grow and to continue to make a difference in the lives of Gwinnett County teens. I can not stress how important it is for the community to step up and help support our efforts. I know there hundreds if not thousands of nonprofits in Gwinnett and the surrounding the areas that you can support. We never charge for our services. We have provided clothing, transportation and meals at every event we do for our group at no cost to the students. We never want finances to be the reason why teens don't participate. I'm going to be honest, we get less than 5 percent of funding from the Gwinnett County area and I would like to see that change. We are less than a month away from our second annual golf tournament. We need you to come out and play regardless of skill. Even if you don't have any clubs, I have a storage unit full of clubs that you may borrow. Don't let skill deter you from coming. Yesterday on Memorial Day, I was calling to check on one of the guys in our program to check on him. Little did I know, they were all hanging out hiking. I told them that I was barbecuing and they were more than welcome to hang out with my family if they were hungry. They took me up on my offer and came over and hung out for a few hours. #BETONGCO

Last year's golf tournament combined all the things Gwinnett Chatt Outreach is all about. We combine golf, networking and community into one event. Our young people had a chance to be a part of the day by participating in the festivities. We hope that you plan on joining us on August 9th at Stone Mountain Golf Club. I took a couple of the teens from our Fairways Protégé program out to the Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure over the weekend. They even had a chance to get autographs from Tim O’Neal and asked if I would auction them off at our upcoming golf tournament. #BETONGCO #GCOGOLF #fundGCOnotjails #golf #gwinnett

We had the opportunity to take our group out to their first @Gwinnett Stripers baseball game. We had the opportunity to go onto the field to have our picture taken. We will be back this summer to do a behind the scenes tour.

Opening up minds to change lives! That's what we are doing at Gwinnett Chatt Outreach. Our protégés received a master class on the career of optometry from the co-owner of First Class Eye Care, Dr. Adam Young. This is just one of the ways they spent their spring break.
