The Center For Entrepreneurial Excellence (CFEE) advances GWSB’s globally recognized achievements in the field of entrepreneurship education and empowers student entrepreneurs through award-winning classes and faculty.
CFEE engages in and promotes research and other scholarly activities that make significant contributions to the fields of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial leadership, innovation, "intrapreneurship," women’s entrepreneurial leadership, and new venture development. CFEE is located in the GW School of Business (GWSB). CFEE, GWSB, and our key partners promote entrepreneurship among students and throughout communities.
CFEE is the newest name of GWSB's long-standing entrepreneurship center. CFEE was originally known as CASB (Center for the Advancement of Small Business) founded in 1983 under the leadership Prof. Chuck Toftoy, and renamed in 2005 by Drs. Erik Winslow and George Solomon.
