As this was my first time on a podcast, I want to thank Brian for being a great host and making me comfortable from the start and throughout the entire process! SOLD OUT!!! ???? Today marks the end of a 7-year journey as we shipped out our final pair of socks and our website is now offline. What began as a small project to help dogs and honor my mom's career in footwear (I literally grew up in the shoe store my mom worked at) turned into a platform supporting pet rescue organizations in Los Angeles, aiding thousands of dogs. All whilst our sock design gained fans and sales across two continents. ?????????? We never expected this passion project to last for this long (and be this succesful) and we wanted to stop on a high! So please don't be sad that we are calling it quits, but be happy and proud for what we've achieved, because we for sure are! ?? Happy Holidays from May Kim, Gilles Vanpoucke, Chewy, and Mookie! ???? And remember, ADOPT DON'T SHOP! ????

Having just returned from my final business trip of the year on Friday, it's always a moment for introspection on the past year ??: - What accomplishments can I celebrate? - Where did I excel? - In what areas could I have performed better? - Did I achieve the goals I set for myself? - Was I able to communicate the needs and differences of the US market to my Belgian customers sufficiently? ???????? ... This year brought a lot of learning and inspiration from both familiar faces and new contacts! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made a difference in my life, both personally and professionally, this past year! ?? But it should be a time to look ahead! ?? - What goals do I aspire to in the coming year? - What challenges will I encounter? - How do I envision my personal growth? - How can I make a positive impact on others? ... The difference this year is that I'm committed to writing these things down and revisiting them several times a year! Who else does this already and has some tips for me on how to keep track (and stay on track!)? ?? Thank you Delta Air Lines to always get my to my destination safe and for the great customer service as always! ?? To emphasize that, here is a note I received from Tonya, the stewardess on my my last flight. A great example of how customer service and retention doesn't have to cost a lot.
