Get to Know Guzman’s Ana Castaneda Ortiz! Ana has been a valued member of the Guzman team for over a year, and she’s recently taken on a new role as Senior Compliance Analyst within the Guzman mid-office team. Prior to this, Ana was a standout Settlements Analyst, where she played a key role in overseeing checkouts and compliance processes. With a background in mathematics from Regis University and a recent MBA in Cybersecurity from Colorado State University Global, Ana has made valuable organizational improvements for Guzman. People always say that the times we're in are the most consequential. It's common at graduations, elections, and business events. It has made me skeptical. But for once, these are the most consequential times of my lifetime. In the electricity industry, we need to keep all our power options open to meet future demand, respond to national security concerns, and genuinely address regulations and policy in a modern way. The country does not need the same market designs and regulatory policies of the last century. To compete globally, regulation at all levels must be addressed. All this can be done while maintaining human dignity, upholding the values of democracy, and trying to make the planet cleaner for our children. It will be challenging, but any problem mankind creates can (and must) be fixed with good leadership and hard work. ?At Guzman Energy, we believe in a customer-driven approach to solving these problems. Communities are in the best position to make decisions about their energy future, and we work daily to empower them.?Fins up!?
