This past week I was living the EOS Life in Denver... One of the things I love about EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is the concept of the?EOS Life: ?? Doing what you love ?? With people you love ?? Making a huge difference ?? Being compensated appropriately ? With time for other passions Recently, I got to combine two of those—doing what I love with people I love—on a trip to Denver. My business partner, Kyle Walbrun, and I had the privilege of being the "Customer Spotlight" at Gusto's "State of G"?all-hands meeting, a company-wide event for their 2,800 employees. Gusto has been a game-changer for our business, allowing us to seamlessly employ W2 team members across multiple states while keeping payroll and compliance stress-free. Getting to share how their platform has empowered our team—together—was an incredible full-circle moment. We’ve always said we want to run a business that truly takes care of people, and having the right tools, like Gusto, makes that possible. But the most special part? I brought my 5-year-old daughter along for a mommy-daughter adventure. She got to see a little glimpse of what I do, explore my business partner’s farm (which, for a kid, is basically heaven), and spend time with family friends while I spoke. It was such a sweet reminder that work and life don’t have to be in conflict. When you build intentionally, they can fit together beautifully. This is exactly why I love running on EOS. It gives me the structure and freedom to do work I love, with people I love, while making space for what matters most. Something memorable happened this week! Some would say that Radical Partners won $10,000 from Gusto, a huge billboard, and a community party as the Impact Award Recipient in #Miami. If you ask me, I’d say we won several prizes this week: 1. Support from a very cool, national company that’s now inspired by our work, which translates into energy and fuel to keep accelerating impact. 2. The joyful smile of our founder, Rebecca Fishman Lipsey, which means that we’re doing good by her and therefore, shaping Miami in a rad way. 3. Hugs from past employees, coaches, and consultants, who are our very own radical partners, which reminds us that it takes the work of many to move the needle. 4. A community of bold, smart, kind people that in the midst of their busyness have our backs as much as we have theirs, and hopefully some soon to come content that proves that point ??.
