Of course - real heads know Big Daddy sampled the original No Half Steppin’ by Heatwave. I remember putting 2 and 2 together and finding that Dali-esque album cover in my parents LPs after hearing BDK. One more fact, that entire LP side of that Heatwave album was written and produced by none other than the estimable Rod Temperton. https://lnkd.in/gWvvuRX2
