Georgetown University Latinx Leadership Forum

In the Fall of 2014, fifteen Latinx student leaders joined with the Provost’s Committee and the President’s Office to create the first-ever, university-sponsored, Latinx Heritage Month. Thus, they founded the Latinx Leadership Forum to unite Hoyas who share a passion for Latinx culture and community. Following the Forum’s success, the students decided to utilize the Forum as a platform to organize, celebrate, and advocate for Latinidad on the hilltop. With weekly meetings at Casa Latina, the LLF seeks to support Latinx students and advocate for the accurate expression of Latinx culture, heritage, and contemporary experiences. Our member organizations include: -Ballet Folklórico Mexicano de Georgetown -Central American United Student Association -Georgetown Aspiring Minority Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs -Georgetown University Minority Association of Pre-Health Students -Georgetown University Riqueza Dominicana -Georgetown University Women of Color -Hermanas -Hoyas for Immigrant Rights -La Casa Latina -Latin American Student Association -Minority Pre-Law Association -The Patrick Healy Fellowship -The Black House
