This week we attended the State of the University! We are proud to support Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and their State of the University luncheon. Thank you, Dr. Miller, for your leadership and sharing your vision for the Island University with the community.

Today, our President & Site Manager Paul Fritsch spoke to the Portland, TX Chamber of Commerce? about our operations and the future of our industry at their State of the Industry luncheon. Paul highlighted some of our recent significant milestones, like completing the past year injury-free, and thanked the Portland community for their support. Today, we remember and honor the first responders and victims of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, as well as all those who have served. Our VAST organization held a Remembrance Ceremony and observed a moment of silence in honor of the fallen. Thank you for your service??

Investing in the education and curiosity of today's youth is crucial for shaping the leaders of tomorrow. By fostering a love for learning and discovery, we're not just building knowledge—we're building the foundation for a brighter, more innovative future. Our partnership with Craft Training Center of the Coastal Bend allows for students in the Coastal Bend to discover what a future in industry looks like. We know that giving young people the opportunity to try something new can have a lasting impact.
