China International Big Data Industry Expo (Big Data Expo) is the world's first expo themed around big data. Characterized by visions, industrial perspectives, and enterprise positioning on a global level, it aims to build a professional exchange and sharing platform for global big data professionals, enterprises, institutions and start-ups. With a focus on frontiers and win-win results, the Big Data Expo 2018 will explore big data development on the basis of the latest innovations and achievements in big data technology. With the theme "Data for Everything, Intelligence for Integration", the Big Data Expo 2018 will include the following: A summit at which the government and enterprises will engage in dialogue. An opening ceremony at which state leaders will deliver addresses as well as renowned domestic and foreign experts and scholars will deliver speeches. Five high level dialogues at which top International big data enterprises and leaders will exchange ideas on Al, data security, internet of things, sharing economy and targeted poverty alleviation. Several forums which will explore the deeper integration of big data with economy, culture, society and ecology, centering on six fields including digital economy development, national governance through big data, industrial innovation of blockchain and other technologies, data security, big data and people's livelihood as well as regional cooperation and exchange. Two concurrent conferences, one exhibition, one competition and a series of activities held during the Big Data Expo 2018. Two concurrent conferences- China e-commerce Innovation and Development Summit will be held during the Big Data Expo 2018. At the summit, leaders from the government, world-renowned e-commerce enterprises, innovative companies, non-governmental organizations and e-commerce industry will reach a new consensus through dialogue. One exhibition-China International Big Data Industry Expo (professional exhibition) will allow visitors to experience the most advanced technologies including Al, VR, AR and wearable devices revealing their vision for a better future. One competition-2018 China International Big Data Fusion Innovation Artificial Intelligence Global Competition will be held with more than 1,000 teams from over 10 countries will participate in the competition in six countries including China, the USA and Israel. The final will take place in Guiyang, Guizhou Province on May 25th, 2018. The results of the final will be announced during the Expo. A series of activities-A series of activities will be held during the Big Data Expo 2018 to better promote the development of integration of big data with the real economy, social governance and people's lives. For the first time, the supercomputing capacity and technical applications of China's "Eye of Heaven"for astronomical big data will be displayed. 5G application scenarios will be presented, and pioneering big data research works will be released including China’s Big Data Valley, Block Data 4.0, as well as investment promotional information of Guiyang's 100 big data application scenarios. The Expo will also see the release of a series of the most advanced and disruptive technologies in the world such as the security index of domestic big data cities and other industrial development reports. The organizer has sent invitations to world-renowned big data enterprises, internet enterprises and software enterprises with positive responses.
