After 12 years of hard work, dedication, and improving the lives of millions of pet parents, we have reached a long-targeted goal: achieving €100m ARR (>$100m) at Tractive -something very few consumer subscription companies ever achieve. We are particularly proud to have reached this level while helping dog and cat owners by creating products that genuinely change the lives of our customers for the better—and doing so while having fun. Our continued effort to create category-leading products is paying off. We almost bootstrapped the business, requiring very limited funding over the years. This was only possible because we focused on being CF-positive long before it was sexy to do so. Throughout the journey, we have re-invested every single Euro into improving our products, hiring the best talent from around the world, and building an award-winning company culture. Our recent Employee Net Promoter Score was just shy of 70. We are incredibly proud to have this team. Our team consists of ~270 talented individuals and we continue to grow. We officially launched in the US just 3.5 yrs ago, and last year, the US overtook Germany in the number of Tractive customers. It continues to be our fastest-growing market and we will double-down on that growth. Twelve years in, we expect this momentum to continue, projecting ~40% growth in 2025—healthy growth that is: sustainable, w/o mass layoffs or excessive inefficient marketing spend. It’s the Austrian way, as opposed to the Silicon Valley approach (which works for many companies but isn’t our style). For many years, we focused on GPS tracking—a feature that may sound simple but is incredibly complex when it’s in a tiny device on the collar of a pet. We’ve collected trillions of data points on activity, sleep, and health of our 4-legged friends, giving us an unparalleled understanding of their wellbeing. Dogs and cat don’t have a voice, but Tractive gives them one. By detecting changes in behavior, activity and sleep patterns, we can identify potential health issues or discomfort. E.g. if your dog wakes up more often than usual, it could indicate digestive issues, joint pain, or even an improper diet. Tractive doesn’t diagnose, but it alerts you—often before you’d notice yourself—and prompts you to consult a vet if needed. We are 100% convinced that by continuing to deliver on this mission, our products will become essential for every single pet parent. This excites us. We are the global market leader in this space, and we’ve only scratched the surface of what’s possible.
