Her Ph.D. advisor is Professor Sankar Nair. Meghan specializes in plastic recycling and chemical engineering, focusing on developing closed-loop systems for hard-to-recycle materials like colored plastics and multilayer packaging. Her expertise extends to sustainable engineering, where she innovates with green solvents and separation processes to improve recycling efficiency. As an entrepreneur and CEO of BMP Chemicals, she has led industry innovations in Thailand’s chemical sector. She also works in policy and technology transfer, connecting the USA and Thailand to enhance waste management systems. TI:GER, which stands for Technology Innovation: Generating Economic Results, is an educational program that can be a STEM concentration in Strategy and Innovation for Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business evening and full-time MBA students and a minor for Georgia Tech PhD students from the colleges of engineering, computing, and sciences. TI:GER integrates classroom instruction, technology-innovation projects, and group activities into practical, real-world experiences. Since 2002, students have joined TI:GER because they benefit from a competitive advantage in getting jobs and advancing their careers in technology innovation.

Meet Anamik Jhunjhunwala, a Ph.D. candidate in the 2024 TI:GER cohort from the The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University. His Ph.D. advisor is Professor Stanislav Emelianov. Anamik specializes in biomedical imaging, nanotechnology, and stem cell therapy, focusing on real-time tracking and photothermal therapy. He designs multifunctional nanosensors that allow clinicians to communicate with transplanted stem cells via acoustics, photonics, and magnetism. Additionally, he applies data analytics to improve imaging algorithms for ultrasound and MRI. Anamik leads interdisciplinary teams and mentors in biomedical research.
