GTM|DC is proud to feature, The Ethel, a LEED Silver-certified multifamily project in the Hill East Waterfront, recently named a finalist in the CREW DC Awards! This project exemplifies the powerful impact of thoughtful design and community leadership, while demonstrating a commitment to lifting up the city’s most vulnerable residents, truly embodying this year's theme, “CREW Means Impact." Named in honor of Ethel Kennedy and situated next to the RFK Campus, the inspiring development provides 100 residential units, workforce training, and supportive services, empowering residents transitioning from homelessness. Nodding to the charm of early 1900 schoolhouses, The Ethel features red brick fa?ades, a serene courtyard, and community-focused spaces like a training kitchen, boutique, salon, community garden, and tiered event plaza. GTM|DC Multifamily Leader, Rosana Torres, AIA, NCARB, reflects, "We are very proud to be a part of The Ethel. It’s a great example of the kind of architecture we love to do.
