Excited to share that I’ve completed the Bits of Good Design Bootcamp this Fall! This experience sharpened my skills in UI/UX design, including user research, Figma prototyping, and designing user-focused solutions. Thank you to the Bits of Good team and my fellow participants, and a special thank you to Sun Graham, Emmaly Nguyen, and Kaytie Lin for fostering such a supportive and inspiring environment. I'm grateful for the opportunity to grow alongside an amazing community and can't wait to apply these skills to create impactful digital experiences! #UIUX #BitsOfGood #DesignThinking #GeorgiaTech

Designing, Developing, Dreaming | CS and UX Design @ Georgia Tech | Honors Program

? Wrapping up the 10-week Bits of Good Design Bootcamp! ? A huge shoutout to my bootcamp partner Teresa Elinjikkal, whose hard work, creative ideas, and fun little yap sessions during our design sprints made this journey so rewarding (genuinely will miss working with you so much and I hope we can work together again!) I’m also deeply thankful for our lovely instructors - Sun Graham, Emmaly Nguyen, and Kaytie Lin, for their thoughtful feedback and guidance, and to our mentor Ansley Franks for her constant encouragement. Each of you has played a part in shaping this final project, and I’m so lucky to have been supported by such an inspiring team ?? Really, I couldn’t be more grateful for this incredible experience. Over the past 10 weeks, I’ve learned so much about UX research and design—from digging deep into user needs through competitive analysis, interviews, and surveys to creating user personas, building information architecture, and designing user flows. These skills have not only sharpened my technical abilities but also deepened my understanding of how design can truly impact people’s lives. Teresa and I designed the app prototype for Kindnest — a cozy, gamified app promoting kindness and real human connection. Here’s how it works: ?? Crack eggs to discover random kindness prompts. ?? Journal your experience after completing a kind action. ?? The egg hatches into a bird, which joins your Nest of Memories—a personalized collection of birds symbolizing your acts of kindness. You can revisit your nest anytime to reflect on these moments of positivity. The app’s hand-drawn graphics and its light, calming blue-and-yellow color palette were designed to evoke a sense of warmth and tranquility, making it an uplifting space to reflect on and celebrate kindness. All in all, joining this design bootcamp has been the best decision in my early UX career! I’m so excited to continue exploring the world of design and can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned to future projects. If you’re interested in learning more about Kindnest or want to chat about all things UX, feel free to reach out. ??
