Green Goodbyes is a new free thrift store for students in Tech Square. Instead of discarding gently used items, students can now donate them to be reused by their peers, reducing waste and promoting sustainability on campus. Items that can’t be accepted, like bedding and non-perishable food, are donated to local pet shelters and Klemis Kitchen, the campus food bank. A ribbon cutting ceremony took place today to commemorate the opening of the Pathway of Progress at Georgia Tech.
