We're happy to say our Spring Networking Night was successful! Spring Networking Night (1/17/2025) provides a platform for members to meet and build relationships with professional consultants. It also allows members to learn about a career in consulting and the skills required to succeed in the field. We heard from amazing panelists - Mitchell Beeland Tatar, MBA and Robert Moorefield who are both owners of the company and GT alumni! CJB is a company located in Valdosta, GA, that focuses on agricultural and specialty product development, including chemical and biological formulations. CJB is split into three subsections: CJB Industries, CJB Applied Technologies, and Salvus. Their primary markets are agricultural, turf, PCO, biocides, wood treatment, specialty chemicals, coatings, and adhesives. Last month, GT AIChE sent ~30 ChBE students to the AIChE National Conference in San Diego, CA! GT Students shined in the competition events, with the Chem E Jeopardy team advancing to the final round and many research poster presenters being awarded in their specific categories. A huge congratulations to our Jeopardy team: Andrew Neville, Pallavi Natarajan, Luis De Jesus, and Sofia Moreno!! Another round of applause for our poster winners: Chenyu Li, Mehul Dhoot, Raka Chakraborty, Josh Brown, Gianna Fiduccia, Anna Burson, Lucinda Nugent, and Hamzah Farooqi! Additionally, the GT AIChE community service committee qualified for the K-12 STEM Outreach Competition for the first time ever! Thank you to Landon LaMarca and Darasimi Jakande for your work in this monumental occasion! This conference was a great opportunity for GT students to represent our institution and to gain experience presenting research on the national level.
