How do you develop sales talent? You create space. You show up. You challenge. You connect. Wednesday evening, I had the absolute privilege of returning to Georgia State University to speak on behalf of Adobe for the The Sales Club at GSU —an event that’s quickly became one of my favorites. I had the honor of sitting on a panel last year to speak with them and I was thrilled to be back again this year. We decided to switch it up this year. This wasn’t just a lecture. I wanted them to speak with successful sales leaders across areas, industries, and companies. We made it an unforgettable experience. How did we do this? The Learning: We played an interactive game that gave students the chance to rotate around the room and sit face-to-face with each sales leader. At each station, we dove into real, tactical conversations around: ? Building Rapport ? Negotiation Tips ? Handling Objections ? Prospecting & Buyer Personas ? Time Management Tools It was powerful watching the lightbulbs go off. We even lead role play exercises. These students came prepared, asked real questions, and leaned all the way in. Great work! ?????? This group is different!! They’re resilient, curious, and incredibly brilliant. They’re the next generation of top sellers, executives, and innovators—and they’re going to change the world, no question. Thank you for the opportunity and bravo to their amazing executive board for their leadership. I’m beyond grateful to have shared the room with some amazing industry leaders that I also call my brothers. I’m forever grateful for Emerging 100 of Atlanta and Kappa Apha Psi for bringing these brothers into my life. 1. Jeffrey Cargile II – Senior Sales Specialist, Digital Pathology Imaging at Leica Biosystems 2. Robert Timmons – CEO | REALTOR? at Pivotal Real Estate Group 3. Brian Moore - Director, Product Management Marketing Cloud - Data Analytics, Reporting, and AI 4.Yohance Thomas – Data & AI Solutions Architect at IBM 5. And myselfl Big thank you to each of them for showing up with excellence, authenticity, and heart. We didn’t just drop ?? gems—we built something meaningful. Mentorship and leadership matters. Because success means nothing if you’re not using it to help others succeed too! This is what it’s all about. I’m always looking forward to continuing to lead and learn. #Adobe #SalesLeadership #Mentorship #FutureExecutives #GSUSalesClub #SalesDevelopment #Leadership #GiveBack #LevelUp #E100ofAtlanta
