  • ??? Another incredible day in Dubai for our Hospitality Immersion Program! The students started the day with a deep dive into the UAE's business and economic climate, led by WebQuest SEO founder Mazen Alouol. They then engaged in a dynamic panel discussion on Dubai’s tourism best practices, featuring insights from Ian Hyndman (Dagaz Management Consultancy), Lina Yousif (Media One Hotel), and Andres Gonzalez (Conceptional B.V.). After an enriching morning, they explored Dubai Mall, shopped, and took in breathtaking views of the city from the Burj Khalifa at sunset, followed by the mesmerizing Dubai Fountain Boardwalk. ???? The next day was all about luxury hospitality! They enjoyed exclusive tours of Atlantis The Palm & Atlantis The Royal, led by Resort Manager Kais Lahiani and Bashir Sleiman, and indulged in an unforgettable group lunch at Nobu by the Beach. ???? To end the night in style, they set sail on a Dubai Marina dinner cruise, taking in the city's skyline under the stars. ???? An incredible experience filled with learning, networking, and first-class hospitality! ??? #LuxuryHospitality #FutureLeaders

  • One of our hospitality professors, Dr. Townsend makes another feature on Channel 2 Action News in an article titled "Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines cuts revenue forecast, citing ‘reduction’ in consumer confidence". ????? He discussed the impact of economic uncertainty on the travel and aviation industries. While it looks like recent tragedies have undermined the public's trust in air travel and therefore reducing revenue streams for businesses, Dr. Townsend stated that there's a better reason for that. Economic uncertainty causes businesses to become more cautious in conducting sales, leading to revenue cuts across the industry.
