Girl Scouts embraced their inner Willy Wonka as they embarked on a sweet adventure at Monsoon Chocolate Factory and learned about the origins of cocoa and the process of transforming it into delicious chocolate. ???? Happy National Philanthropy Day! Philanthropic giving makes the world go round, though so little of it goes to causes that directly support women and girls. In fact, according to a study by the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, only 1.8% of charitable giving in the U.S goes to organizations primarily serving women and girls.
