The US power grid was not designed for our modern electricity needs. ? By 2030, data centers are forecasted to represent as much as 7.5% of all power demand, equivalent to the power used by a third of US households. Meeting that energy demand — and importantly, meeting it with clean energy — presents an opportunity for us to build new grid infrastructure better suited for distributed, sustainable power assets. ?
