Meet Jesus. Jesus arrived from Mexico many years ago with dreams of becoming successful in his own way. Although he does not have a degree, he is someone who loves to write and share his stories, he made a personal goal of writing his own books. Over the span of a year, Jesus has been able to gain digital literacy skills in order to assist him in reaching one of his biggest goals, and recently he was able to publish his first book on Amazon Kindle and is finalizing his second book. He is excited at where his skills have taken him and is looking forward to his third book because he knows CCNP will be here to assist. Gavin Newsom and the State Legislature for restoring $2 million to the Free Tax Preparation Assistance, ITIN application support, and Education and Outreach services conducted by community organizations in AB 157. This is a smart investment that will help struggling Californians make ends meet. Programs like free tax prep and ITIN application services played a pivotal role in ensuring families could afford basic necessities like food, housing, and childcare. With partial funding restored this year, more people will again be able to access these same services. #AB157 #CALeg
