Jennifer Brooks and I recently had the opportunity to visit one of the Global SOF Foundation's new Small Business Corporate Partners, CORE Survival, Inc., located in Clearwater, FL. Marcia Baldwin, CORE's President, and Founder, told us their story - A chance conversation at an Air Force meeting in the early 2000s established the need for a special helmet light for PJs. Follow-on collaboration with a helmet manufacturer and active duty users led to the first helmet-mounted light, a low-profile, snag-free, break-away lighting solution for High-Altitude High-Opening/High-Altitude Low-Opening (HAHO/HALO) parachute helmets. This initial requirement expanded to other tailored needs within the broader SOF community, where their team has had the opportunity to listen to users and offer new solutions to address old problems. This high level of capability has allowed their products to grow beyond their military freefall origins to a wide range of users and applications. What a great week to be alive! This week, the Global SOF Foundation had its semi-annual "All Hands" event. We've recently expanded and hired a few more employees, some of whom needed some education about what USSOCOM does for our great nation. When the slap flare went up, Arthur "AC" Coley was the first person to answer the call. Spathe Systems was kind enough to host a "SOCOM 101" and broke down the USSOCOM Factbook 2024 Barney Style (insert military chuckle)! His enthusiasm and delivery are second to none, and it is precisely what you expect from the "Spathe Way." I've said this once, and I'll say it again, it's a great day to be a part of GSOF!

Today, the Global SOF Foundation remembers and honors the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the enduring impact on survivors, their families, and our nation. We pay tribute to those who have made profound sacrifices since that day. We will never forget.
