This past weekend Welcome Group and KDW teamed up for some fun with the Houston Rodeo! We proudly took on the challenge as the "Welcome Group and KDW Walkers...Running Optional" at the annual Rodeo Run. While we didn't break any records, we certainly crossed the finish line with plenty of laughs, a little sweat, and a whole lot of team spirit. We're excited to announce the completion of Phase II development at Cedar Port Industrial Park at TGS Cedar Port! The two?buildings, each 20,040 square feet,?sit?on?4.28 acres of the?23-acre development tract originally purchased in July 2020.?Constructed by KDW, Phase II development offers?excellent access to Highway 99, I-10, FM 1406 Deer Park, LaPorte and the Port of Houston and are both available for lease. Visiting Lloyd’s of London – the world’s largest marketplace for insurance underwriters and a truly iconic building – was an incredible experience. They were joined by Mitch Davis, our insurance analyst, and our brokers, Brian Keating and Jonathan Fender. Together, they collaborated to ensure our insurance program remains strong and well-positioned for future success. Please join us in celebrating Priti Mehta for achieving her CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation! As an Acquisitions Analyst in our Texas Acquisitions Department, Priti has worked tirelessly to complete the rigorous requirements of the CCIM Institute. This includes four intensive courses covering financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis for commercial real estate. She also submitted a portfolio of her commercial real estate experience and passed a comprehensive final exam. Priti's dedication to excellence in her field is a true asset to Welcome Group, and we are proud of her accomplishments. Congratulations, Priti!

Congratulations to Welcome Wilson, Jr. on graduating from the FBI Citizens Academy! This prestigious six-week program offers leaders the chance to gain firsthand insight into the inner workings of the FBI, fostering stronger ties between law enforcement and our community. The FBI Citizens Academy is an engaging six-to-eight-week program that gives business, religious, civic, and community leaders an inside look at the FBI. Classes meet in the evenings at FBI field offices around the country, with a mission to foster greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement through open discussion and education. Candidates are nominated by FBI employees, former Citizens Academy graduates, and community leaders, and participants are selected by the special agent in charge of the local FBI field office.

Today, we want to recognize and celebrate Robert Frederick, Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst, who has been a key part of the Welcome Group team for over a year and half. Robert recently earned his master’s degree in Data Analytics from the University of Houston - Downtown. Throughout his time with us, Robert has shown dedication, hard work, and an analytical mindset, making invaluable contributions to both our Finance and Accounting departments. His commitment to growing his skillset while maintaining his high level of performance at work is very impressive. We are proud of everything Robert has accomplished so far and look forward to seeing the continued impact he will make at Welcome Group.
