Welcome, Jyoti Baghel! ?? She has joined our team as an Accountant in Bettendorf. Jyoti wasn't a Girl Scout in the past but is beyond excited to learn more about our Movement and get involved however she can! She's looking forward to meeting the finance team and learning how she can put her solid accounting skills and experience to use within our council. Jyoti has a bachelor's degree in Accounting and she completed four years of Chartered Accountant courses where she studied accounting, auditing, tax laws, GAAP, and business strategy. She also has 10 years of accounting experience under her belt--that's a lot of numbers! Jyoti is very family-driven--her parents have always been her rock and her siblings are always there for her in times of need and laughter. Her kids bring her joy each day and her husband is always there to celebrate her successes and lift her up. Aside from spending time with her family and playing with her kids, Jyoti loves to relax and watch movies, sing, dance, and chef it up in the kitchen! ???????????????????

Thank you, Regional Development Authority, for supporting staff-led outreach programs for Girl Scouts! Your support creates a supportive environment for local girls to learn and grow. Our outreach program helps eliminate barriers so all girls have the opportunity to become Girl Scouts and make the world a better place.

Today we remember Martin Luther King Jr. and the incredible impact he left on our nation. As we celebrate #MLKDay, we remember his legacy and continue to stand strong in challenging times. These moments push us to better ourselves, our communities, our nation, and our world.?

Welcome, Brooke Finn! ?? She has joined our team as an Outdoor Experience Manager at Camp Little Cloud. Brooke started her Girl Scouts journey as a Brownie and has found her way to Camp Little Cloud. Brooke is excited to contribute what she can to empower young girls and help them develop and round out their leadership skills. She's ready to make a positive community impact and be part of a mission-driven organization that gave her so much joy and connection as a child! Brooke has been working with kids for 10+ years as an Elementary School Teacher all over! She taught in Dubuque, IA, Denver, CO, and Milwaukee, WI. For two years, she was also the Elementary Assistant Principal of Operations in Milwaukee, WI. Brooke loves spending time with her family--especially her little baby boy, Oscar, and her cuddly beagle, Shasta Fay. When she's not making an impact with Girl Scouts or cuddling her babies, Brooke loves to take a hike, relax with yoga, tend to her garden, watch movies, and get busy with cooking and baking! ????????♀???????
