We are Gryphon Capital. At Gryphon Capital, with Gryphon Capital Management as our investment arm, we strive to teach bright, financially-minded Sarah Lawrence students about the world of investing and finance through a rigorous research based investment process culminating in stock pitches to the group and a potential investment in the advocated companies. Anybody interested in matters of economics, money management, or the financial industry as a whole should look into joining Gryphon Capital. Our publication arm, The SLC Economic Review, does everything from publishing stories about economic events and market trends to profiling the guests who come to speak to the group. Our community engagement arm, Gryphon Capital Outreach, aims to use the returns on our investments on initiatives and grants we believe will better the Sarah Lawrence Community. We welcome people of all levels of investment experience and financial literacy, endeavor for diversity in all aspects of our members' backgrounds, and are committed to doing right by Sarah Lawrence, the place that brought us all together.

    We would like to thank all the members who showed up to Gryphon Capital's first Guest Speaker Meeting of 2024! This was truly a successful event, and all gratitude goes to Alexander Wah, Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Prince Capital and former President of Gryphon Capital, for providing wonderful insight into the financial world and how to become successful in the financial services industry coming out of Sarah Lawrence.
