    ??Hiring alert ?? Over 350 applications flooded in for my first job post! But here's the shocking twist - not a single hire was made! THIS is what to look for in a candidate: As a 2nd time founder, with over 8 years of experience, I've learned a thing or 2 about building teams. 1 of the key lessons I've come to appreciate is the importance of hiring individuals whose traits complement each other. It's not just about technical skills; it's about how your team members interact with each other and with clients and customers!! It's about their work ethic, their ability to collaborate, and their willingness to learn and adapt. That's why, at Growthstone, we prioritize CULTURE when hiring rather than just skill sets. We look for team members who are willing to dive into the big picture, understanding how the business operates and how each role contributes to our overall success! Now, some might argue that hiring less experienced individuals is risky. After all, experience is valuable, right? Well, yes and no. While experience certainly has its merits, it's not the ONLY factor that determines success. What's more important is finding candidates who are dedicated, hardworking, and aligned with your company's values and vision. That's why we believe in hiring for potential. By giving individuals with less experience a chance, we not only open the door for greater diversity but also foster a culture of learning and growth.     From a frustrating 9–5 to a 2nd time founder… this is how Growthstone started: Despite the closure of Haazri in 2020, my entrepreneurial spirit remained strong. The drive to create, expand, and refine is what fuels me. So, I started up a new business AGAIN. I have already shared WHAT we do at Growthstone but what inspired me to start Growthstone…? 1st, I would say–it was a realization of an untapped skill set. I've always had a knack for driving performance growth, but in my previous role, I found myself limited in utilizing this skill to its fullest potential. (Plus, the hierarchy and structure of the company didn't allow for the kind of hands-on approach that I thrive in). 2nd, I've always been someone who LOVES the thrill of execution. The pressure and challenge of making things happen is where I excel. 3rd, the previous job’s remote working setup (me working out of home and my team- remote) opened my eyes to a fundamental truth - my time shouldn't solely be based on someone else's requirements. I realized that my time was often dictated by the needs and schedules of others, and TBH this didn't sit well with me. I wanted more autonomy and control over how I spent my time. Lastly, my conversations with agencies worldwide highlighted a common theme - many were following the SAME old patterns without much innovation. It struck me that I had access to valuable insights and resources, and I saw an opportunity to do things differently! Combining these factors, I felt a strong pull to start my own Anti agency!! But…starting my own company wasn't just about venturing into entrepreneurship; it was about creating a space where I could fully utilize my skills, drive growth, execute strategies with precision, and offer clients a very different and fresh perspective. Through this venture, I've had the opportunity to bring together a team of some very talented individuals. We collaborate on innovative campaigns (fun included) with an aim to truly make a mark in the industry. #Growth #Marketing #Business
