It’s important to remember that being a leader isn’t tied to your social status, financial situation, or where you live. Instead, true leadership comes from the heartfelt desire to inspire and uplift others, helping everyone on your team become the very best versions of themselves. It’s about creating connections and fostering an environment where everyone can thrive.?As John Quincy Adams puts it, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” Click the link below to check out our Amazon best-seller - “Unlock The Hidden Leader, Become The Leader You Were Destined To Be.” https://geni.us/4JmlQU #leadership #management #leadershipdevelopment #employeeengagement #leaders #people #leadershipfirst #leadershipfirstquotes #executivesandmanagement #inspiration #giffordthomas #entrepeneurship

Creating a strong team is not just about bringing together individuals with diverse skill sets and backgrounds. It's also about fostering an environment where everyone's strengths are valued and utilized. One key to achieving this is to view the strengths of others as complementary to your weaknesses rather than a threat to your position or authority. When you recognize that you don't have all the answers or skills, you open yourself up to the potential for growth and improvement. By embracing the unique abilities of others, you can enhance your own performance and that of the team as a whole. This requires humility, self-awareness, and the ability to give credit where it's due. Building a strong team requires a willingness to recognize and accept your own limitations, to value the strengths of others, and to create an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive. Your peace is non-negotiable. Adam Danyal shared 4 ways to protect it: 1. Say no without guilt. Every "yes" to others is a "no" to yourself. 2. Set boundaries and stick to them. Respecting your limits teaches others to do the same. 3. Disconnect to recharge. Silence the noise—social media can wait. 4. Let go of what you can't control. Peace thrives where control ends. Your energy is finite. Spend it where it matters most. Protecting your peace isn't selfish—it's necessary. __________ ?? Join the world's first video community for leaders, launching 2025. One of the best leadership advice I’ve ever gotten was from my mentor Bill Zengel, “Great leaders give credit when things go right and take responsibility when things go wrong.” Simple but rare these days as most leaders do the opposite. Great leaders stand out because they put their people first. It may sound straightforward, but the impact is powerful. Here’s why: 1. Building Trust: A leader who openly accepts responsibility shows that they’re accountable. This strengthens trust within the team. According to a study from Harvard Business Review, employees who trust their leaders report 74% less stress and are 50% more productive. Owning up to mistakes helps build this trust. 2. Encouraging Innovation: When team members know that their leader will support them, even when things go sideways, they feel safer to take risks. This “psychological safety” is essential for innovation. Google’s study on high-performing teams found that psychological safety is the #1 factor for team success. 3. Motivating the Team: Recognizing the team’s hard work boosts morale and motivation. When leaders give credit, they acknowledge everyone’s efforts, showing the team that they’re valued. This simple act increases job satisfaction and performance by 13%, according to Gallup. A good leader steps up to take the hit but steps back to let others shine. This approach not only strengthens the team but also makes everyone feel more connected and invested in their work. In the long run, everyone wins. Love, Lan Phan community of SEVEN

  • It does not matter where a great idea comes from!

Good leaders talk less, listen more. Here are 3 ways to amplify great ideas: 1. Ask better questions. Stop telling; start asking what your team thinks. 2. Create space for voices. Silence the loud ones so quiet brilliance shines. 3. Champion the best ideas. It’s not about who said it—it’s what works. The best ideas come from your team, not you. Your job isn’t to have the answers. It’s to make sure the best idea wins. Great leadership isn’t about ego. It’s about results. Written by Adam Danyal. __________ ?? Lead Talent Acquisition Partner @ Royal Caribbean Group | Empowering candidates to Job Hunt Like A Recruiter

Everyone has that one coworker who they get excited to work with. Think about yours - what is it that makes you look forward to working with this person? Do they lead empathy? Are they always reliable? Do they celebrate the wins of you and others? Now, think about what qualities you have that would make others want to work with you. A lot of people think about professional growth solely in the lens of getting better at certain tasks, but what about how you show up to work to inspire and enable others? Becoming the colleague, mentor, or leader you’d want to work with isn’t always the easiest path, but it tends to be the one with the most personal and professional growth and fulfillment. #JobHuntLikeARecruiter

Leadership isn’t about control, it’s about empowerment. When you invest in your team, you’re building more than day-to-day results. You’re building a legacy. TRAIN WELL Training isn’t just about teaching skills - it’s about inspiring growth and creating thinkers.? * Share everything you know, even if it means they outgrow you. That’s the goal. * Push them to stretch. Growth happens outside comfort zones. * Encourage bold ideas. Help them believe their vision matters. TREAT EVEN BETTER Loyalty isn’t bought - it’s earned by how you make people feel. * See the whole person: their talents, quirks, and ambitions. * Build trust. Let them speak up, fail, and grow without fear. * Celebrate the journey, not just the outcomes. ?GEMS FOR LEADERS ? * Stay curious. Keep learning alongside your team. * Drop the ego. Be a guide, not a boss. * Define success together - it’s more powerful when shared. ?A great team doesn’t just work for you - they believe in what you’re building. Treat them as partners, co-creators, and the reason you’ll look back and say, We made something that mattered. Eric Partaker ??
