Years ago, our ag supply biz GrowBIGogh, Inc. made the decision to cease selling compressed coco products. Salts, aspergillus, supply chain delays, brokered source inconsistencies…. Very happy to be back in with both feet, distributing for Kaya Coco. Here u see a side/side trial with legacy coco media vs Kaya (disregard the wet/post-ipm condition, will be back to prayin mode momentarily). These plants all looked the same last week in their peat plugs. The nursery mgr told me it was obvious within 1 day, gripping and ripping while the others yellowed and struggled despite a well-honed fertigation program developed by their experienced agronomist. Kaya is unique in several ways. It is pre-washed, actually, as verified by Netherlands frequent audits to maintain RHP cert. Guaranteed 0.1 EC (when hydrated) every time. Pre-buffered with Ca-Nitrate so it doesn’t suck those nutes and ensures pH 6.0-6.5. And no pith, the fines are screened out instead so you get the rapid dry-back without the inconsistency of some pots having more chunks than others (there are no chunks and no fines, just compressed coir). Even has pre-drilled holes on 2 opposite corners for emitters. Containers here in Gilroy & Salinas CA with steady supply for case, pallet and truckload quantities.
