But I see a chance to collaborate on shared priorities like economic growth, grid reliability, and local job creation. Over the last few years, Arizona has experienced incredible growth in advanced energy, thanks to major federal investments from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act. These initiatives have brought in over $11.8 billion in investments and created 18,000+ new jobs. That’s transformative progress—not just for the industry, but for our entire state. But we have a challenge ahead. The infamous Project 2025 playbook, which proposes repealing these impactful policies, could mean nearly 16,300 jobs lost by 2030 and even more by 2035. That’s a major hit, not just to jobs, but to our economic momentum and even household energy bills. Arizona is at a crossroads. We have the opportunity to keep building a strong, advanced energy economy that brings high-paying jobs, supports cleaner air, and secures our state’s place as a leader in the industry.
